In this video tutorial you are going to see the location and diagram (explanation) of VW Passat B6 (2005-2010) fuse panel (box).

Below you can see the fuse colours:

30 A – green
25 A – white
20 A – yellow
15 A – blue
10 A – red
7,5 A – brown
5 A – beige
3 A – purple

You have to know that VW Passat B6 (2005-2010) has two fuse boxes:
– first one is located on the left side of the dash panel behind the plastic cover
– the second one is located in the engine compartment on the left side of the car

You have to replace the defect fuse with a new fuse of the same ampere number! You should never repair fuses and do not replace them with a fuse of a higher amperage, it may cause fire.

I recommend always carrying replacement fuses in your vehicle because you never know when you need it.
